Browse legacy Nokia backup files.
NbuExplorer is a downloadable Nokia tool which gives users full access to their NBU backup files, among other types of backup files.
Like Windows Explorer, the graphical interface of the Windows distribution of this program is easy to find your way around in. It is fully dedicated to opening files created by Nokia OVI suite. The good thing is that it works with virtually all versions of NBU and backup files created by Nokia PC Suite.
The interface of NbuExplorer is very clean and easy-to-use. It displays information in a dual-pane and displays internal files, memos, bookmarks, calendar entries and your whole contacts file.
Unfortunately, this program comes with very little in terms of help files, therefore you should know at least a little bit about how this program works before you delve right in. Users experienced in working with Nokia backup files shouldn't have any issues.
NbuExplorer is probably the best application available which deals with Nokia backup files. Also note that it is 100% free and licensed as a freeware application.
